What We Do
FOD foundation is a humanitarian effort channeled towards improving the life outcomes of people living with Sickle Cell Anemia and helping in the education of the society to prevent new cases of SCD.
WHAT WE DO
Advocacy and Education
We believe that spreading awareness is the first step toward change. We provide educational resources to those affected by sickle cell disease and their families. We also advocate for policy changes to improve treatment and care options for those living with sickle cell disease.
Health and Welfare
Caring for identified sickle cell patients as resources permit, through payment of hospital bills, medication, and basic needs.
Events
We host and sponsor events to bring together the sickle cell community and share resources and information. These events include fundraising events to support our research and educational initiatives, as well as awareness campaigns to share information about sickle cell disease with the public.
Get Involved
To substantively support the people living with Sickle Cell Disease, we need your support through voluntary works, financial resources and material assistance.

In Loving Memory of Funmi - A Sickle Cell Warrior who went over the rainbow bridge on 13 August 2022. Her fight for the welfare of people living with Sickle Cell Disease continues with this Foundation.
